Your journey in Morocco starts when you land at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, where our guide will greet you. The first visit is the famous Hassan II Mosque, a stunning landmark by the Atlantic Ocean with one of the tallest minarets in the world. It’s a beautiful way to begin your trip.
Next, we head to Rabat, the capital city. Here you’ll see the historic Hassan Tower and walk through the charming Oudayas Kasbah. In the evening, you’ll check into your hotel in Rabat for a good night’s rest. If your flight arrives late, you’ll spend the night in Casablanca, and the tour will start the next morning.
After breakfast, we head north into the Rif Mountains. The four-hour drive takes you through green hills and small villages, arriving at the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen.
Once you check into your riad, the afternoon is free to explore. Walk through the blue streets of the medina, browse the local artisan shops, or relax with a mint tea in the lively main square. Enjoy the calm and picture-perfect charm of the “Blue Pearl.”
After breakfast, we drive south through the Rif villages and green countryside. Our first stop is Volubilis, where you can walk through the ancient Roman ruins and see the detailed mosaics and old buildings. Next, we head to the imperial city of Meknes. After lunch, we explore the medina, admire the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. By evening, we arrive in Fes, where you will rest in a welcoming Riad.
Spend a full day exploring the historic city of Fes with a local guide. Your tour begins at the impressive gates of the Royal Palace before heading into the winding streets of the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Along the way, you’ll see important landmarks such as Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. You’ll also walk through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. The day ends with a visit to a fortress where you can enjoy a wide view over the city before returning to your Riad.
After breakfast, we head toward the Sahara Desert. The first stop is Ifrane, a clean little town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” From there, we drive through a cedar forest where you might spot Barbary macaque monkeys. After lunch, the road takes us through the green Ziz Valley, filled with palm trees.
By late afternoon, we reach the edge of the desert. Here, you’ll ride a camel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. We’ll stop so you can climb a tall dune and watch the sunset. At the desert camp, you’ll settle into your own tent, enjoy a tasty dinner, and end the night with Berber music under the stars.
Wake up to the quiet and beauty of the Sahara. Today is all about experiencing the desert. You’ll visit a green oasis, meet local Berber nomads, and go to the village of Khamlia to hear the lively sounds of Gnaoua music. In the evening, enjoy a sunset over the sand dunes before settling in for the night.
After breakfast, we head towards the beautiful Dades Gorge. On the way, we’ll stop at the lively market in Rissani, full of local life and trade. Next, we visit the impressive Todra Gorge, where you can enjoy a relaxed walk between its high cliffs.
The trip continues through the Dades Valley, passing the unique “monkey fingers” rock formations and stunning views all around. By evening, you’ll arrive at your hotel, a peaceful place to rest.
Today we head to Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s movie capital. You’ll have the chance to see Atlas Studios, where many famous films were made. Next, we visit the famous Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has appeared in movies like Gladiator.
After lunch, we drive into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass. By late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech. Once you settle into your riad, you can explore the lively Jemaa El-Fna square and enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Start your day in Marrakech with a knowledgeable guide who will show you the city’s history. In the morning, visit the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the hidden Saadian Tombs. Then, feel the lively atmosphere of Djemaa el Fna square and explore the narrow streets of the busy souk. In the afternoon, relax in the peaceful blue Majorelle Garden, a calm way to end a day full of sights and experiences.
On the final day of your Moroccan adventure, we will arrange your comfortable and timely transfer from your Riad to either Marrakech (RAK) or Casablanca (CMN) airport. We hope you leave with a heart full of cherished memories.
