Your 3-day desert tour from Essaouira starts with pick-up from your hotel or riad around 8:00 am. We drive through the Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, we stop to enjoy the views, take photos, and stretch our legs.
Our main stop is at Ait Ben Haddou, a famous historic village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have time to walk around the kasbah and explore the old buildings. Many well-known movies and TV series were filmed here.
In the afternoon, we continue to Ouarzazate. Before going to the hotel, we visit a film studio where several movies were made. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we travel through Skoura Oasis and the Rose Valley along the road known as the Thousand Kasbahs. After a few hours, we arrive at the Todra Gorges, famous for its high rock walls and beautiful scenery. You will have time to walk around and enjoy the area.
In the afternoon, we drive to Merzouga, near the golden sand dunes. You will ride camels across the dunes to reach the desert camp. In the evening, enjoy dinner and traditional music under the stars. Overnight in the desert camp.
Early in the morning, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, we start the drive to Marrakech.
Along the way, we stop in the Draa Valley to enjoy views of palm trees and small villages. We continue through the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
