Once you check into your riad, the afternoon is free to explore. Walk through the blue streets of the medina, browse the local artisan shops, or relax with a mint tea in the lively main square. Enjoy the calm and picture-perfect charm of the “Blue Pearl.”
After breakfast, we drive south through the Rif villages and green countryside. Our first stop is Volubilis, where you can walk through the ancient Roman ruins and see the detailed mosaics and old buildings. Next, we head to the imperial city of Meknes. After lunch, we explore the medina, admire the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. By evening, we arrive in Fes, where you will rest in a welcoming Riad.
